Paris. The City of Love and Lights! What’s not to love? Jet-lagged? There’s no such thing when you are in a city as remarkable as Paris. Left-bank or right bank? Whichever your preference, there is something for everyone. The best way to experience a new city is to live like a local, not just a tourist. After all, you only have a quick, few days, so dive in!
You can hardly ever go wrong with food in Paris. So many choices, so little time! Great wine and great food! It’s a foodie’s delight! But, these are a few of my absolute favorites!
Verjus: One time here is never enough. Great wine bar with phenomenal food. Every time is perfection.
Ferdi: Simple and cozy with family keepsakes. Worth waiting for the quality.
Le Refuge des Fondus: My friend, Alex, told me about this hole-in-the-wall place that you wouldn’t typically find as a visitor, but it’s a unique and cozy little place, and worth the little trek to Montmartre for some scrumptious wine in baby bottles and fondue!
Café de Flore: I love coming here to write, listen to music, people watch and to simply be. Enjoy the people around you and coffee (if you’re a coffee lover, this is a top spot).
Bar Hemingway: This place lives up to its reputation…come for the drinks, stay for the conversation.
Le Meurice: A great spot to lose yourself in jazz or find yourself and come alive.
Laudurée: Macarons, Pastries, Chocolates, oh my! Satisfy your sweet tooth here!
Aux Délices de Manon: This was my grab-and-go when I was in a rush and the food was perfection, even on the go.
Whether you prefer to cruise down the Seine River or galavant around town sightseeing and shopping, there is so much beauty and history every where you look.
Eiffel Tower: What is a trip to Paris without stopping by the iconic Eiffel Tower?!
Louvre: Art lover? History buff? Perfect combination of both can be found here in it’s unique structure
Palais Garnier: THIS is my happy place. An opera lovers paradise! Take a walk inside the beautiful staircase and find out why!
Jardin du Luxembourg: Take a beautiful stroll through the lungs of Paris or enjoy the day with a good read and some wine
Monet’s Garden: Enjoy Monet’s garden, home and studio
Sacre-Cœur: From the dome, you can have one of the best views of Paris and it is the second tallest point in Paris after the Eiffel Tower
Centre Pompidou: Coolest modern art around from the beginning until now.
The Westin Paris, Vendôme: Sometimes, I love living like a local, while other times, I love living at the Westin. They have the best service all over the globe and go above and beyond to accommodate any and all of your needs
Hôtel Louvre Montana: A dreamy boutique hotel in the heart of the city, where everything is at arms reach
Four Seasons, Hotel George V: Among many things in Paris, this hotel is pure perfection, but wait until you see their spectacular floral displays… Beautifully, breathtaking floral art
Hôtel Particulier: A quaint boutique hotel and hidden treasure in Montmartre, away from all of the everyday chaos
